Business

Business is currently studied in year 11. The course follows the development of a business from the initial idea to the creation of the business, hiring staff members and competing in a commercial market. Throughout the course students are encouraged to develop their analytical skills and make important decisions.

Business is also supplemented through the Enterprise Curriculum, where students work on projects which allow them time to explore issues such as costings for projects and creating marketing proposals.

Next Steps

A Level and Degree level Business studies are ideal for students who are interested in working with businesses after school. Additionally students may decide to use their newly acquired knowledge to start up their own business.
