Music
Music is currently offered at KS3, and is supplemented by a course in Indian Drumming with a drumming expert. The curriculum covers all areas of music including composition, performance and evaluation. Music develops self-expression which can give students a positive outlet for their feelings.
Next Steps
Studying music at school can lead to creating music independently, and can inspire an interest to learn a specific instrument. There are many routes to continue this study, for example studying Music at GCSE or A Level.
